Privacy Policy
That AI Operator (operated by Iyke Tega, Abuja, Nigeria) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. It applies to thataioperator.com and every page and sub-path on this domain.
By using this site you agree to the practices described here. If you don't, please stop using the site.
1. Who we are
The data controller for thataioperator.com is Iyke Tega, operating as "That AI Operator" from Abuja, Nigeria. For privacy questions, email iyke@thataioperator.com or message +2348107644215 on WhatsApp.
2. What we collect
We collect the minimum we need to deliver the services on this site. Specifically:
a. Information you give us directly
- Lead-magnet opt-ins (3 Free Prompts): first name, WhatsApp number, email address.
- Purchases (Claude Money Machine, Operator Protocol DIY, Operator Protocol DWY): name, email, phone, billing details. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor (Nestuge) — we never see or store your full card number.
- Buyer-only Roadmap form (Tally): your answers to four short questions used to route you to the right post-purchase guidance.
- Email replies and WhatsApp messages you send us, including their content and metadata.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and scroll/click behaviour.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for the full list.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- Deliver the products and services you've signed up or paid for.
- Send you the 7-email education sequence that follows the lead-magnet opt-in, and other transactional emails about your purchase.
- Personalise your roadmap and follow-up emails based on the answers you provide.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the site, including measuring which content actually helps Nigerian freelancers.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, regulatory).
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
For users protected by the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), EU/UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we rely on:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver paid products you've bought.
- Consent — for the email sequence and marketing communications. You can withdraw consent any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, and improve our funnel.
- Legal obligation — when required to keep records or respond to lawful requests.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:

Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy. If we add additional analytics, advertising-pixel, or CRM tools in the future (e.g. TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Google Ads conversion tag), this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated before they are added.
5a. About the Meta Pixel specifically
The Meta Pixel is a small piece of JavaScript that runs on this site. It allows us to measure which Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ad campaigns drive sign-ups and purchases, and to show ads to people who have visited specific pages. It tells Meta:
- That a particular browser visited a given page (PageView).
- That a sales-page or lead-magnet was viewed (ViewContent).
- That a free-prompts opt-in was completed (Lead).
- That a checkout was started (InitiateCheckout).
- That an order-bump or upsell was considered (AddToCart).
- That a purchase was completed, including the product, value, and currency (Purchase).
It does not send Meta your full name, plaintext email, phone number, or any other identifier from the opt-in or checkout forms. Identifiers Meta uses for ad matching (where required) are first hashed in the browser before being sent. You can opt out of personalised advertising at facebook.com/adpreferences or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
5b. About Google Analytics 4 specifically
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is a free analytics product from Google that tells us how visitors find and use the site — which pages they read, where they drop off, which campaigns convert. Measurement ID: G-3KRWM1Q8PN. Beyond automatic page_view tracking, we fire the following recommended events:
view_itemwhen the Claude Money Machine sales page or the free-prompts landing page is viewed.generate_leadwhen a visitor completes the 3 Free Prompts opt-in.begin_checkoutwhen a visitor lands on the checkout page.add_to_cartwhen a visitor reaches a DWY upsell or order-bump consideration page.purchasewith the product, transaction value, and currency when a buyer lands on the post-purchase confirmation page.
GA4 receives a pseudonymous client ID, approximate location (country and region — not your precise address), device + browser data, and the events above. We have IP-anonymisation enabled by default in GA4 (Google strips the final octet of your IP before storage). We do not send GA4 your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifying information from the forms.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
6. International transfers
Several of the providers above are based outside Nigeria (mostly in the United States and the European Union). When your data is transferred internationally, those providers operate under their own data-protection commitments. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
7. How long we keep your data
- Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Customer purchase records: at least 7 years, to satisfy Nigerian tax and accounting requirements.
- Server logs: typically 30–90 days, per provider defaults.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's inaccurate.
- Delete your data (subject to lawful retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Port your data to another provider.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Nigeria: the Nigeria Data Protection Commission).
To exercise any of these rights, email iyke@thataioperator.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
9. Children
This site is built for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, password-protected admin tooling, and processors with industry-standard security. No internet transmission is ever 100% secure — please use a strong password and email account.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
