A WhatsApp sales assistant is a reply system built on the official WhatsApp Business platform (and Instagram DMs where you need it). It learns your prices, sizes, delivery fees and the way you talk to customers, then handles the repetitive part of every sales chat so the serious buyers reach you faster.
It is built for Instagram and WhatsApp vendors who get more enquiries than they can answer quickly. If your phone is full of unanswered “how much?” messages by evening, this is the leak it closes.
Why buyers go quiet
Most buyers message three or four vendors at once. The first one who answers clearly, with the price, the delivery fee and a simple next step, usually gets the order. The others get “I don get am already”.
Research published in Harvard Business Review in 2011 found that US companies which contacted a lead within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as those that waited even an hour longer. That is US data, so I don't lean on it. Instead, before we talk, I send your page one real enquiry and time your reply. Your own number is the only one that matters.

Go-live: live within 5 working days of receiving your price list, past chats and account access, or you don't pay the balance.
Speed: if the median first reply is not under 2 minutes in the first 14 days, I keep working on it free until it is.
40 enquiries a day with 10% buying today. If faster replies and follow-ups lift that to 12%, that's 0.8 extra orders a day. At ₦25,000 an order, about ₦600,000 a month in extra sales.

Questions about the WhatsApp sales assistant
Will my customers know they're talking to a system?
It replies in your name and tone, and it hands over to you or your staff for anything it can't answer, payment disputes and custom requests. If a customer asks, it tells the truth. Most customers just want a fast, clear answer.
Do I lose my WhatsApp Business app?
Meta now lets Nigerian numbers connect the app and the official platform on the same number, so you keep chatting from your phone. I confirm it for your number before we start. If your number can't, we use a dedicated sales number and you lose nothing.
Will WhatsApp ban my number?
Bans come from spam: bulk messages to strangers and unofficial tools. This runs on the official WhatsApp Business platform, replies only to people who messaged you, and follows Meta's rules for follow-ups.
How much does a WhatsApp chatbot cost?
It depends on who builds it and what it does. Mine is a one-off build fee, not a monthly subscription. The No Missed DM Sales Assistant is ₦650,000. Clients who start by Sunday 18 October 2026 pay ₦420,000, and the price goes up after that. 70% starts the build and 30% is paid when it's live. After that, you pay WhatsApp's message fees and a small usage fee directly to the platforms, and the care plan is optional at ₦75,000 a month after the first 30 days.
What does it cost to run every month?
You pay the platforms directly: WhatsApp message fees and a small usage fee, plus an Instagram tool if you need it. It depends on your volume. I estimate yours on our call before you pay anything.
What if it doesn't know the answer?
It only answers from the information you approved. Anything else gets “Let me confirm with the team” and an alert to you. It never makes up prices, discounts or stock.
Can it handle Instagram DMs too?
Yes, through an approved Meta tool connected to your Instagram professional account. Many vendors start with WhatsApp and add Instagram in week two.
How long until it's live?
5 working days after you send your price list, past chats and account access. Most of that time is testing, because that's what makes it safe to leave on at night.
