Terms of service

Last updated: 12 October 2026. These terms apply to services from That AI Operator, Abuja, Nigeria. Each project also has a one-page agreement listing its scope; if the two differ, the agreement wins.

Scope and timeline

We build the system described in your agreement. The go-live clock starts when we have received everything listed in it (price lists, past chats, customer lists, account access). Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

Payments and refunds

  • 70% of the fee is paid to start the build and holds your slot. 30% is paid when the system is live.
  • Founding and weekly launch prices apply only to agreements paid before the deadline stated for that price.
  • Platform running costs (WhatsApp message fees, AI usage, tools) are paid by you directly to the platforms and are not part of our fee.
  • If we cannot deliver the agreed scope for a reason on our side, we refund what you have paid, minus third-party costs already incurred.
  • Once the build has started, the 70% is not refundable for a change of mind, except under the guarantees below.

Guarantees

Each system's guarantee is stated on its page and in your agreement, for example: if the system isn't live within the promised working days after we receive your assets and access, you don't pay the balance.

Results

Example figures on this website are illustrative and labelled as such. Your results depend on your products, prices, demand, stock and how quickly your team handles ready buyers. We don't promise a specific amount of sales.

Acceptable use

You confirm that the people your system messages have bought from you, asked about your products, or agreed to hear from you. We will not message bought or scraped lists, and we may pause a system that is used for spam or breaks WhatsApp, Meta or Nigerian law.

Ownership

Your accounts, data and content stay yours. Our templates, prompts and methods remain ours and are licensed to you for use in your business.

Care plan

30 days of care are included. After that, the optional care plan is billed monthly and can be cancelled with 7 days' notice.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the system concerned. We are not liable for outages or changes made by third-party platforms such as Meta.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
